Buddh International Circuit unveiled!

The speedy completion of the track is seen as an achievement to the country, hot on the heels of the disappointment and outrage following the various peripheral and major issues now associated with the Commonwealth Games in 2010.
The event included a guided tour of the new track and a car show. It also included an all-important session of interaction between the media and F1 organisers in India - the Jaypee Group. Among others, present on the panel were Jaypee Sports International Limited (JPSI) Managing Director Mr. Sameer Gaur, JPSI Chairman Manoj Gaur and Federation of Motorsports Clubs of India (FMSCI) President Vicky Chandhok, who is probably the most recognisable face in Indian motorsports.
During the quick-fire round of questions at the hands of the reporters, the organisers cleared up several issues and dispelled myths about various other issues as well.
Upon being questioned about the cost of building the track and the peripherals and the expected time to recover those expenses, Manoj Gaur was sure to mention that it was not a question of money. "We've invested in the future of the country and the youth of the country," he said.
